A not-so-much-of-an-improvement meme

My friend told me about this improvement meme thingy so uhhh... I find it sorta interesting so I kinda made one...

Then I realized that it's pretty embarassing cuz my drawings really do suck from way back then...

Eherm... so anyway, since I only got active on deviantart this January most of the artworks on this meme is not posted on the internet which is pretty much a good thing...

My artworks are super duper suckish, it's not even worth mentioning... but anyway, you know my OC, Avista, right? So this character really does exist from a very very very long time although her concept from before (the first image on the meme) is absolutely different than she is now. And I'm just a kid back then so I prefer young teenager characters (ages 13-16) back then. Which marks the existence of my OC, Lass (the blue haired girl)

2006
This is the year that I started to try using a photo editing software. (I remember using a different software before I switched to photoshop but I can't remember the name). Then I made more characters that is associated with Lass.

2007
More of Jamboree characters here. So anyway, the 2nd image here is like one of my classic best from the past. I dunno what I did there but this artwork was a cut above the rest from my drawings of the past.

2008
Nothing much here. I created college-level characters like the 3rd and 4th image but in the end well it got nowhere...

2009
The return of the character that I am and always will be known for. This is the time I re-conceptualized Avi to the short-haired woman who wears chinese oriental dresses. Although, I still drew the jamboree characters from time to time but Avi started to take over.

2010
Nothing much again. It's just another year full of Avi and the characters associated with her. I'm saying this because I'm really running out of words.

2011
The year that I decided I want art as my career and decided to take art seriously. As you can see, there really was a huge difference between 2010 and 2011 (is there?). I studied at First Academy of Computer arts for 4months in the hope that I could improve. This is also the year that I tried my hands on digital painting. Also, this is the year that I created Heroine (the 2nd super extremely bloody image that you will never ever see me upload the full image on the internet ever.) and the Angel with black wings (3rd image). The Angel with black wings really was chibi on my first concept.

2012
