Fanart Illustration of Himura Kenshin and Yukishiro Tomoe from Rurouni Kenshin Trust and Betrayal OVA.
It's about time I uploaded this one. This is an obviously a spoiler scene so, sorry. Anyway, Trust and Betrayal together with, Reflections OVA is one of the best animes that I have ever watched ever. I'm more of a fan of classic animes like this one than some of the recent ones where you can only see ecchi fanservice and yaoi (ugh...) This particular scene just like the title say, will always be remembered by Kenshin and those who have watched this anime. It's just too sad and tragic. Yeah I like tragic stuffs than happy endings.
It amazing how art can create beautiful death scene even though in reality death is just brutal, painful, sad and when the thought of what will happen when you close your eyes for the last time, it's scary.

I always felt more for Kiyosato Akira than anyone else in this series, and will admit that it still hurts til this day to think of how easily she was portrayed to have moved on from him with the man who killed him. I always appreciated the manga's take on her more, as she showed more genuine remorse for being the catalyst to his death than she did in the OVA. I felt the OVA paid very little attention to his relationship with her in favor of overplaying the one she later had with Kenshin.
